What does the registration fee pay for?

Registration gives the individual access to the:

-  CBA exhibit floor as well as

-  CBA sponsored events with the exception of ticketed events. 

Ticketed events that are not included in the registration fee include

-  Prospective Retailer Seminar,

-  Retail Training workshops,

-  Professional Christian Retailer Certification modules,

-  Retailer Idea Exchange Luncheon,

-  New Artist Showcase Luncheon,

-  Children’s Product Carnival and

-  Church Store Exchange Luncheon. 

NOTE: The Disney Difference is also included with the registration fee but registration is requested.

 


Do spouses and children need badges?

A badge is required for anyone to access the exhibit floor, not just buyers.  Even children must have a badge – ages 16 and younger are free.

 


Who do I contact if I didn't receive a registration confirmation?

CBA works with ShowCare to provide registration services for the International Christian Retail Show 2008.  The quickest method of contacting them is by email at:

How do I make changes to my pre-registration?

You can log in to the registration site using your confirmation number or CBA ID number to make changes to a registration already submitted. 

If your change involves additional registration fees, you may want to contact ShowCare prior to logging into the system by emailing them at:

intl2008@showcare.com

 


       

How do I cancel my pre-registration?

You may contact ShowCare at: intl2008@showcare.com prior to the International Christian Retail Show 2008.

After the Show, please send an email request to CBA Registration at info@cbaonline.org.  Cancellation requests will be received up to 30 days following the show and each request will be considered separately. 

No meal functions are refunded after pre-registration closes.

 


      

Can I attend CBA events with/without a badge? Are they free?

Yes. CBA non-ticketed events are open to the public (i.e. Worship Now, Power of Music, Monday Super Session, CBA Presents and CBA Comedy Night  – any event that doesn’t require pre-registration) and no badge is required. 

The Disney Difference is also included with the registration fee but registration is requested.

 


      

Can I meet an artist/author/speaker? 

Artist/Author/Speaker schedules are directed by their sponsoring companies.  Please visit the company booth for opportunities to meet personalities.

 


      

Are pictures/video recordings allowed?

No.  Cameras and video recordings are not allowed anytime on the exhibit floor or during the events.

 


     

How do I order an audiotape or CD?

Sessions at the International Christian Retail Show 2008 will be recorded. Detailed information on the recording company and how to order will be posted here soon.

 


  

What events are recorded?

Most training workshops will be recorded and available for order at Show Central on the exhibit floor during exhibit hours.

NOTE: Recording artists will not be recorded

 


When do doors open for events?

Doors generally open 30 minutes prior to the start of an event or as soon as sound checks are complete.

 


When is this year’s Personality Party?

This year’s Personality Party has been renamed the New Release Party to emphasize companies that have new projects within the year. This event will be open to retail attendees only.

Participating companies are expected to represent music, video, book, and gift items.

 


Will childcare be provided?

Childcare services will be available at the Orange County Convention Center, Monday through Thursday during the Show. Toys, games, arts & crafts, and movies will be coordinated to help entertain your kids while you conduct business on the exhibit floor.  The service will be provided by Super Sitters Inc.  Reservations are requested in advance.  A minimum of 10 reservations are needed in order for childcare to be provided. 

Please contact Super Sitters at http://www.super-sitters.com or 407-382-2558 to make reservations.  Parents will need to provide lunch and snack items.  Bottled water will be available.

 


What food service options will be available at the convention center?

Food courts will be open in the B Lobby during the show.  There will also be a restaurant on the exhibit floor during floor hours.  Several vendor stands will be available through the CBA space at the convention center for quick items. 

 


Where is Ship Home?

Ship Home services are provided by TNT Services throughout the week and will be open during floor hours and located just outside the exhibit floor in room W205A/B.

 


Where is the main entrance located?

The space designated for the International Christian Retail Show at the Orange County Convention Center is predominantly located around Halls A4 – B4.  The main entrance and shuttle drop-off area will be outside the B Lobby.

 


Are there discount tickets available to Disney?

Please visit the Orlando Info for all specials for Orlando attractions including Disney Parks, Universal Studios, SeaWorld and dinner theaters.

 


How far is the airport from the convention center? 
Is complimentary shuttle service provided?

The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is approximately 20 minutes from the Orange County Convention Center.  Complimentary shuttle service is not provided but a convention discount is available for Mears Transportation under the Travel and Housing page.
